DEVOTIONAL
"Prepared people never stop learning.” Those who take notes and review them are prepared and never stop learning. Those who omit note taking abandon the preparation and limit their learning; they become obsolete to knowledge.
Those who have knowledge take advantage of what they learn and go further. However, those who ignore knowledge use their ignorance as an excuse to stay in the middle of the road, not knowing which way to go. Don’t allow your walking with Christ to be empty, simple, and without strength; rather take advantage of the wisdom that each line hides, each verse, each book. Hug God's Word with determination and look at it truthfully as the best instruction that can exist for your life. If the knowledge of things from this world is necessary to succeed in your career, how much more is the Word of God, which was written to lead and transform your life? In this moment, direct these words to God: “Lord Jesus, I ask You to provoke in my life an insatiable thirst for Your Word. I ask You to give my life a firm foundation. Holy Spirit, surround my life with Your presence, so that I can deal with battles knowing and learning the weapons that You have prepared to lead me to victory. I ask You Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, Amen."
“Joyful is the person who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding. For wisdom is more profitable than silver, and her wages are better than gold.” — Proverbs 3:13-14 (NLT)
“In that day, everyone in the land of Judah will sing this song: Our city is strong! We are surrounded by the walls of God’s salvation. You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” — Isaiah 26:1,3 (NLT)
CALL TO ACTION
Take time to write your thoughts; take time to write thoughts from every sermon you’ve heard from our pastors; take time to investigate more about it, and get back to your notes at least once a month. You will find yourself in a very different position and perspective. You will be able to understand more and understand better what you have received from God.
